- Financial need, together with the academic qualifications required by the post-secondary institution.
Selection committee
- The principal of Wainwright High School, or a designate.
- A member of Buffalo Park Lodge No. 44.
- One additional Wainwright High School representative mutually agreed upon by the first two committee members.
Presentation and duration
The original terms called for the scholarship to be presented at a public ceremony by a representative of Buffalo Park Lodge No. 44. The program was planned as an annual award for ten years, with its future reviewed every five years by a lodge committee.
