Bill and Molly Riome Masonic Memorial Scholarship
Amount
$1,000, presented to one student each year while the program was active.
Eligibility
One student selected annually from Wainwright High School.
Qualifications
The student was required to be registered in a full-session, post-secondary program at a university, provincial institute of technology or recognized community college in Canada.
Selection basis
Financial need, together with the academic qualifications required by the post-secondary institution.

Selection committee

  1. The principal of Wainwright High School, or a designate.
  2. A member of Buffalo Park Lodge No. 44.
  3. One additional Wainwright High School representative mutually agreed upon by the first two committee members.

Presentation and duration

The original terms called for the scholarship to be presented at a public ceremony by a representative of Buffalo Park Lodge No. 44. The program was planned as an annual award for ten years, with its future reviewed every five years by a lodge committee.
